As part of DARYA SCAFFOLD, our experts have developed a continuing professional development (CPD) toolkit — a set of nine ready-to-deliver tools that help design and run CPD programmes that change practice. Each tool consists of two parts: a facilitator guide with a step-by-step session script and a presentation designed for use with the audience. The tools draw on the evidence base for effective CPD, on the eight quality indicators and on the SCAFFOLD design solution. They can be used individually or built into a single programme, adapted to your own context, group size and priorities. Each activity is described in enough detail that any facilitator can run it — from posing the question and organising group work through to debriefing and transferring the conclusions into their own practice.
